What Drives Us at MTX

Companies often put too much emphasis on ‘industry standards’ while hiring talent. Not to say factors like compensation, employee benefits, and training programs don’t matter, but the modern, discerning employee is equally (if not more) concerned about working in a place that reflects their own values and ethics and gives them the opportunity to grow. Both as a professional and an individual.

Company culture is as crucial in hiring talent as are traditional differentiators. At MTX, values drive culture.

We act as #TourGuides for our employees
We have a #NeverSettle attitude
We show #ToughLove
And...we swear by #FunCulture

Everyone likes to have a customized tour rather than be driven around by a taxi driver. Through our orientation sessions, training programs, and a flat hierarchy, we act as tour guides for our both our old and new recruits.

We encourage our employees to put their heads together and come with amazing solutions, and ideas and never settle down within earmarked job roles. What’s the point of hiring talent if they cannot realise their true potential within an organization!

There is no such thing as a perfect system. And we know we can grow only by showing (and accepting) tough love. So, we are open to feedback and respect differences in views and opinions. Challenge us, question us, and we will not be offended!

And last but not the least, we know all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. We work hard, but play harder. Our fun ministers keep the craziness quotient going on the floor. Some Fridays see us bonding over fun activities. Don’t be surprised if you find blooper videos featuring you doing the rounds on Social Media channels.

On a more serious note, we know the importance of having flexible working hours, particularly for women. We don’t believe in 9 to 5 but we do believe in letting our employees choose their working hours. That liberty keeps them motivated and makes them responsible towards their work.

Oh, and did we mention that our work spaces re-define ‘cool’. Don’t take our word for it! We ‘ll gladly show you around if you happen to drop by at any of our offices (but working with us would give you way better context).

The bottom line is we care for the people who are working with us. And we are not just saying it. Culture is like virus. Good or bad, it will spread. And we definitely fall in the ‘good virus’ category.
